Marketing Intern

Job Description:

Are you a college student looking for a marketing internship? Do you want to gain real life experience in a growing industry? We are looking for a skilled marketing intern to join our team!
Our team applies the principles of hard work, discipline, and determination to perform our work with excellence on each and every undertaking. As an intern at Heroica Construction, this is no exception. We are only looking for ambitious individuals that are prepared to work in a growing, fast-paced team environment.
The ideal candidate should have the innate ability to create content for a variety of mediums that connect with our ideal audience, showcase completed projects, share educational content, and more! You will finish the internship having gained invaluable experience as a part of our in-house marketing team. This is a paid position and can be eligible for course credits.

Responsibilities:

• Websites Enhancements
• Content Creation
• Social Media Management
• Distribution of Promotional Materials
• Draft Press Releases
• Business Development Assistance (Follow-Up Phone Calls, Mailings, etc.)
• Campaign Support & Liaison To Our Marketing Firm
• Other Duties May Be Assigned

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task & take initiative
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of common software (Google Apps, Marketing tools, etc.)
• Experience with content management systems (including basic HTML & WordPress) is a bonus

Schedule:

• 15-20 hours per week
• Start Date: January 2017

Experience:

All candidates should be enrolled full-time in a university/college and majoring in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or Graphic Design.
